Weatherford Q&A

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive medicinal herb derived from the hemp plant, known for its significant therapeutic capabilities. Safe and non-addictive, users experience relief from a variety of aliments such as anxiety, depression, stress, chronic pain, insomnia, inflammation, as well as many other conditions.

What is Delta 8?

Our hemp derived delta 8 THC is a naturally occurring cannabinoid that is an isomer of CBD and is legal under the farm bill of 2018. It provides the same healing functions as CBD, however it is considered to be a psychotropic compound. The high it produces is less intense than Delta 9 THC and comes without the negative side effects like paranoia and anxiety. Think of Delta 8 as weed light.

How Much Delta 8 Should You Take?

Everyone's tolerance is different, however our recommended serving size is 25 to 30 mg. If you are trying it for the first time, we suggest you try half of that, wait an hour and assess how you feel before adding more. Delta 8 should be used with caution, especially if you are unsure of your tolerance to it. Experiment with delta 8 when you have time set aside. Refrain from driving, working, etc until you are familiar with how it affects you.

Can You Fail a Drug Test?

You cannot fail a drug test using CBD. However, you can fail a drug test after using delta 8. Hemp derived delta 8 is allowed a legal limit of .3% THC. Even with this low limit, a drug test is still capable of detecting the THC, resulting in a failed drug test.

Is Delta 8 Legal?

Due to the Farm Bill of 2018, hemp derived delta 8 is legal, so long as it contains no more than .3% THC. To ensure that your delta 8 products are safe and and comply with the law, research the company and check their Certificate of Analysis.
